Ruby started racing at 12 years old. After moving through the disciplines from road and track, she eventually found her place in cyclocross. Since then she has added mountain biking into the rotation, with a heavy focus still on cyclocross. Currently attending Bishop’s University, she is studying Health and Sports Studies, with a minor in Business, which allows her to continue her education while she is also racing. Home for Ruby is a farm in Dundas, Ontario, where she lives with mom and dad and plenty of animals including cats, dog, chickens, and cows. Ruby also has an older brother who lives in Vancouver, they grew up playing in the trails in their backyard together, a big factor Ruby attributes for her love of the outdoors and racing off road.
