Description

We are looking for a friendly, motivated mountain bike rider/cycling enthusiast to join the Credit team at Pivot Cycles Germany. 

Wir suchen eine/n freundliche/n, motivierte/n Mountainbiker/in oder Radsport-Enthusiasten für das Buchhaltungsteam bei Pivot Cycles Deutschland.  

Responsibilities
  • Review and audit sales orders for accuracy and approval / Prüfung von Kundenaufträgen auf Richtigkeit und deren Freigabe 
  • Process customer payments by recording SEPA, cash, and credit transactions / Buchung der Zahlungen durch Erfassung von SEPA -, Bargeld – und Finanzierungstransaktionen

Factory Field Representative—Southern California

Description

It is Pivot’s calling to build cutting edge bikes that take the rider’s experience to another level. As our dealer partners are vital to serve these discriminating riders, we need a field rep who is committed to supporting our retailers with excellence. This position is for a full-time employee and not an independent contractor.

Responsibilities
  • Daily travel within assigned Southern California territory (Monday through Friday—some weekend events); as well as occasional trips to company headquarters and/or regional events for training 
  • Schedule visits and following through in a professional manner 
  • Stay current on industry trends and communicating observations 
  • Maintain expertise in local markets, establishing and maintaining relationships 
  • Bring consultative approach in assessing the needs of bicycle retailers to present solutions 
  • Provide technical and sales strategy information to support dealers 
  • Address customer issues skillfully to boost brand affinity 
  • Develop a territory plan to achieve monthly/annual sales targets 
  • Planning and execution of demo events in partnership with dealers 
  • Maintain company vehicle, demo bikes, and other assets 
  • Exhibit a passion for the sport and love for the Pivot brand 
Requirements
  • Must live within assigned Southern California territory 
  • Knowledge of retail bicycle operations (retail experience is a plus) 
  • Understanding of bike technologies and culture 
  • Interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills

  • Proven sales experience and business acumen (prior relationships with Pivot dealers is a plus)

Description

The Designer will be a detail-oriented individual who will use their industrial design or engineering background as well as bicycle industry experience to design frames and components. This person will be an integral member of the Design/Engineering team and work to bring future Pivot Cycles products from idea to reality.

Responsibilities
  • Design complete production-ready bicycle frames, parts, and assemblies in 3D
  • Effectively manage production timelines and vendor schedules
  • Create production support documentation and presentations
  • Support prototype and research projects
  • Work with artists to design vendor-ready graphics packages for bicycle frames and components
  • Intensive SolidWorks modeling
Requirements
  • A degree in industrial design, design engineering or mechanical engineering
  • Minimum two years of bicycle/frame design experience
  • Project management and project scheduling skills
  • Talent creating exceptional aesthetic, functional 3D design
  • High proficiency in SolidWorks with the ability to model high quality surfaces, complex assemblies and production drawings with tolerances
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Experience with the Microsoft Office suite of products – Power Point, Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Teamwork and communication skills
  • Mechanical knowledge of bicycles and a passion for mountain biking
  • Ability to travel outside the country
