Warranty and After Sales Specialist

Description

The Warranty and After Sales Specialist is responsible for supporting our domestic and international Warranty and After Sales Support team in their mission to assist Pivot dealers and distributors, as well as end consumers, with warranty claims and technical issues while providing world class customer service.  The position will work closely with Sales and Customer Service departments.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Warranty and After Sales Support team in evaluating warranty and crash replacement claims by assisting dealers, distributors and end consumers with the entire process to include issuing return authorizations (RA), product evaluation, replacement, and follow up 
  • Prioritize warranty inquiries and submissions daily, to ensure a turnaround of 48 hours or less 
  • Accurately receive, inspect and analyze warranty and non-warranty product returns 
  • Ensure that the team responds on the same day to customer, dealer and distributor calls and emails 
  • Learn and operate within the Pivot ERP system to create return authorizations, process warranties, and maintain warranty stock 
  • Answer technical questions for end consumers, distributors, and dealers as necessary 
  • Work with the Product Development team to improve product and improve production 
Requirements
  • 2 years of bicycle industry experience in sales, service, or technical support 
  • Previous experience as a bicycle mechanic specializing in high-end mountain bikes 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office: Excel, Word, Outlook 
  • Ability to learn and operate the Pivot ERP system 
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains and Hubspot are desired

Senior Software Developer

Description:

Tempe, Arizona-based Pivot Cycles seeks a knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and creative senior developer to join a software development team. The developer will work closely with the product owners, and developers to design, and develop technological solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the lead developer on projects
  • Architect, design, write and deliver software to improve the availability, reliability, scalability, latency, security, resiliency, and efficiency of technology solutions
  • Create test plans, test, debug, and document services
  • Follow and promote Agile best practices for development such as continuous integration, unit, integration, and automated testing
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues, defects, performance, and design inefficiencies
  • Actively participate in sprint ceremonies such as daily standup and retrospectives
  • Be self-motivated and require minimal supervision
  • Be able to manage their own stories and seek out answers on smaller projects when BAs are not required

Accounts Payable Admin

Description:

We are looking for a friendly, motivated mountain bike rider/enthusiast to join the Accounting team at Pivot Cycles. The Accounts Payable Admin must have demonstrated accounting experience and strong knowledge of Operational Accounting in a manufacturing environment.  Responsibilities will include all aspects of Accounts Payable in a global organization. 

Responsibilities:

  • Keep track of all payments and expenditures, including purchase orders, invoices, statements  
  • Accounts Payable as it relates to inventory costing and quantity
  • Complete payments and control expenses by receiving, processing, verifying and reconciling invoices 
  • Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances 
  • Maintain accounting ledgers and historical records 
  • Pay vendors by scheduling pay checks and ensuring payment is received for outstanding credit; generally responding to all vendor inquiries regarding finance 
  • Internal credit card reconciliation 
  • Investigate and resolve issues that are associated with the processing of purchase orders and invoices 
  • Prepare analyses of accounts and producing monthly reports 
  • Continue to improve the payment process 
  • Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information 
  • Maintain current accounting controls and recommend modifications to accounting control policies and procedures as business dictates 
  • Special projects as required 

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of operational accounting experience in a manufacturing environment in a similar position
  • BA/BS in Accounting/Finance preferred  
  • Inter-company/multi-department accounting experience is a plus 
  • Multi-currency accounting experience is a plus 
  • Inventory Accounts Payable accounting experience   
  • MS Great Plains Dynamics or similar accounting software preferred.  Experience isolated to QuickBooks and Peachtree does NOT meet the accounting systems requirement.
  • High degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) is mandatory 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Organized, self-motivated and detail-oriented individual 
  • Sound decision making and problem solving skills with the ability to deal with sensitive or confidential information 
  • Experience in dealing with vendor/customer and company personnel at all levels  
  • A demonstrated love for cycling – the candidate doesn’t have to be an expert but does have to love being out on two wheels and enjoy sharing that passion with others as this is key to our cycling culture

Customer Service Representative

Description

We are looking for a friendly, motivated mountain bike rider/enthusiast who would like to join our Customer Service team. As a Customer Service Representative you will be responsible for answering phones, talking with consumers and dealers, and order entry. You will become familiar with our different models to help suggest to consumers what to buy and assist them with technical questions.

Responsibilities
  • Answer phones and work directly with consumers and dealers
  • Help visitors at our facility and provide tours
  • Follow up with potential customers
  • Suggestive selling to consumers and dealers
  • Aid in our sales vision while providing excellent customer service
  • Assist the Inside Sales Specialists with order entry, warranty and other tasks

Demo Technician (Future Demo Driver)

Description

Pivot Cycles is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented person with a passion for cycling to join our team. The Demo Technician supports and maintains the Pivot Cycles demo bikes in cooperation with the sales and marketing teams. In addition to being an excellent mechanic, the successful candidate will need to have exemplary people skills to work with the public while at demos. This position requires traveling one to two weekends per month during the spring, summer, and fall.

Demo Drivers are selected out of the Demo Technician staff to go on the road full time when a position is available. Demo Technicians must be willing to transition to a Demo Driver role as needed and be willing to travel full time (11 of 12 months), in one to two years.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain physical inventory of service parts 
  • Maintain and adjust product inventory using ERP software 
  • Assist in cataloging and shipping of service parts to demo teams 
  • Manage inventory adjustments between demo fleets 
  • Build new demo bikes 
  • Prepare, clean and tune demo bikes for employee and local dealer demos 
  • Service retired demo bikes to prep for sale 
  • Traveling to and working at selected demo events and festivals 
  • Assist with the shipping, assembly, and QC teams when necessary 
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace 
  • Work closely with other departments 
Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED 
  • Willingness to travel for work on some weekends and up to 11 months of the year as a Demo Driver in the future 
  • Previous bicycle shop experience  
  • Complete understanding of the bicycle – mechanical/components, suspension, etc. 
  • Complete knowledge of bicycle related tools and their use 
  • Mechanic certifications are a plus  
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products – Excel, Word, and Outlook 
  • Be able to work full-time in a standing position at a bike stand in a manufacturing/shop environment and/or at a demo event 
  • Organized, self-motivated and detail-oriented individual
