Alamos, Sonora

431 miles south of Patagonia, AZ sits Alamos, Sonora, Mexico. A small, rural town filled with history, mountain roads, and cultural charm that delivers a most unique experience. Alamos is our launchpad for 5 nights in one of Mexico’s most loved ‘Pueblo Magico’ destinations. Together with Pivot Cycles, we will travel deep into the mountains that surround Alamos. Groups of cattle dot the landscape, birds migrate in the thousands, while new agave farms pop up to enter the incredibly popular Bacanora market (Sonora’s regional mezcal).

Our homebase is the peaceful Hotel Pedregal.

Steeped in mother nature, you’re fully consumed by the sound of the forest at your casita, or perfectly at ease by the salt water pool. Owner, Jen MacKay missed no details, and the adjacent ‘Parque La Colorada’ is a 250 acre protected park established to increase Alamos’s connectivity to the outdoors and purpose built trail for mountain biking, trail running, and hiking. One of Jen’s most beloved accomplishments. Alamos is an incredible place to ride your bike, and an even better place to embrace slow travel, family meals, and Mexico’s tranquilo lifestyle.
