Evolved to effortlessly climb, the Trailcat SL achieves incredible efficiency when you need to put paw to pedal. With 120mm of rear travel and a 140mm fork, this nimble, ultra-light feline lives to run and is ferociously fast both up and down the mountain.

Bred for rapid reflexes and extreme agility, the Trailcat LT easily bounds over any terrain. With 135mm of rear travel and a 150mm fork, this cat purrs on intense descents and skillfully maneuvers through the rowdiest obstacles.

The Trailcat SL and LT descend from a common ancestor: the legendary Trail 429. One of the most popular and beloved bikes in Pivot’s history, the Trail 429 was a go-everywhere, do-everything machine that was both buttery-smooth and razor-sharp. Now, it’s branched into two equally compelling models that dial things up with refined geometry, and improved versatility, all while giving riders more choice in finding the best match for their riding style.
Perfectly Tuned dw-link Suspension
The dw-link suspension maximizes traction and efficiency on every climb while maintaining a plush, bottomless feel on rocky descents. It’s how the Trailcat SL is able to pedal like an XC bike and descend better than any 120mm bike has a right to, and why the LT pedals like a short travel trailbike and descends with the capability of an enduro race bike.
In-Frame Storage
The Pivot Toolshed is a rattle-free in-frame storage system built to keep your tools and other essentials organized, secure, and silent on the roughest terrain. You can even attach spare links and your favorite tool directly to the underside of the door thanks to integrated magnets and a built-in strap loop. Every Trailcat also includes two rugged Toolshed bags to keep your gear tidy and easily accessible.
Mixed-Wheel Ready
The Pivot Flip Chip makes it easy to adjust frame geometry on the fly with “high” and “low” settings. Want to throw on a 27.5-inch rear wheel? No problem — just set the Flip Chip to “high,” making all sizes of the Trailcat SL and LT mixed-wheel compatible.
Size-Specific Tuning
Find your perfect fit with frame sizes spanning X-Small through X-Large. Thanks to proprietary hollow core molding technology, the Trailcat SL and LT will fit riders from 4’11” to 6’5”+ with consistent performance and optimal ride characteristics regardless of size.
Cleaner Cable Routing
A new larger single cable port simplifies cable routing at the head tube and makes routing cables easier and more efficient. Additionally, integrated cable clips hidden inside the Toolshed keep cables secure, silent, and safely out of the way.
